My name is Wendy Moore.

I'm not a Christian counsellor or a spiritual director, a pastor or church leader.  I don't have any special skills that would bring me here,  but I built this house in response to a call from God to build a place where people could go and listen for His voice, especially concerning the purposes He has for their lives.  God has so much to say, if only we learned to listen.

This passion for providing a spiritual retreat for seekers of God has been with me for a long time.  In past lives I worked in aged care recreation, in Socially Responsible Investment research, as an ESL teacher in a South Korean university, and  mostly recently  worked as a financial counsellor at a local community Centre.   In spite of the meandering and disparate directions my career,  I have always kept in front of me the intention of building this house as my primary life goal and God has remained faithful in providing me with the capacity to do just that.

I can't change the world on my own. The kingdom of God is like a jigsaw, and I am a single piece.  I will never see the whole picture,  only the pieces I touch.  My role is to support other people find their dreams and explore where they fit in the jigsaw.
